Your data isn’t.
Swim Glasgow brings together public Glasgow Club timetables and connects to its existing booking service. It has no advertising and uses no analytics cookies.
When you browse
Public sessions are fetched by our server. Your chosen facilities, theme, and whether you dismissed the install suggestion stay in local browser storage. Location is requested only after you tap Nearest, is used on your device to calculate distances, and is not sent to or retained by Swim Glasgow.
Vercel Web Analytics records anonymous page views so we can understand how the site is used. It does not use cookies. Vercel receives the page and referrer, approximate location, browser, device, and operating system for each visit.
The same measurement records a small number of interaction events: which pool and swim type you tapped Book on, whether you continued to Glasgow Club, which filters you used or reduced to no results, whether you asked for nearest pools, whether a sign-in attempt succeeded, and whether you shared a timetable or installed the app. No name, email, or Glasgow Club account is ever attached to them.
To tell one visitor from two, Vercel derives a hash from your request rather than setting a cookie. That hash acts as a short-lived visitor session, so several page views and events from you within the same day count as one visitor. Vercel discards it after 24 hours, and it cannot be used to follow you onto other websites. Swim Glasgow never sees it and cannot connect it to your Glasgow Club account or to anything you do while signed in.
When you sign in
Your email and password are sent over HTTPS to Swim Glasgow and immediately forwarded to Glasgow Club’s GladstoneGo service. The password is never stored. Swim Glasgow retains only an encrypted upstream session in Redis for up to four idle hours and no more than 24 hours.
Bookings
Booking details are held only while checkout is active. Swim Glasgow completes bookings only when Glasgow Club quotes no charge. If payment is required, checkout continues on Glasgow Club's website; Swim Glasgow never collects card details or charges a saved card.
Important relationship
Swim Glasgow is not operated, endorsed, or supported by Glasgow Club, Glasgow Life, or Gladstone. Their own terms and privacy notices continue to apply when their services process your account and booking.
